for sure, you can also be strategic with your money, a nice thing which doesn't go with much else tends to be a waste of money (unless it is cheap, or you really, really, really have to have it). a nice thing which can be re-contextualized in a different outfit gives you colors/shapes/patterns to paint with, and rather than being limited by the article, it becomes a choice within the larger whole of the outfit itself.
